Our Journey

Vasco company was founded in 2008 by Maciej Góralski, a businessman and paramedic, who saw a real and tangible need for electronic translators. And so with this goal in mind, we grew to become one of the leaders in translating solutions market.

We fulfill this by breaking language barriers every day. Our most important task is to facilitate the communication for all people speaking different languages. With our devices, people can forget about misunderstandings and focus on new challenges, discovering the world and developing their business.

We’re proud to see we’ve gone this far. At first, Vasco was a small group of enthusiasts who wanted to popularize translating devices. Now our family consists of nearly 250 individuals from 20 countries and 4 continents. We specialize in Natural Language Processing (NLP), UX design, Software Development and Software Maintenance.

In addition to individual customers, we're supporting various organisations, both public and private. We provide translators for the production lines, hotels, schools, hospitals and restaurants.

Meet Our Founder and CEO

Maciej Góralski - Founder and CEO of Vasco Electronics
He was inspired to set up Vasco company because of his personal experiences of language learning and travel. He graduated from the University of Economics in Kraków, the Warsaw School of Management, and the Teacher Training College of Foreign Languages at Jagiellonian University. He also studied in the UK at ARU Cambridge and the Medical College, where he earned a title in medical rescue.

Outside of work, he is passionate about emergency medicine, mountain biking, horseback riding, and both camping and leisure travel. He volunteers at the "Lekarze Nadziei” (“Doctors of Hope") clinic in Krakow and serves as a paramedic. His dedication to emergency medicine also led him to initiate and establish the PMM Emergency Team in collaboration with the Polish Medical Mission. The team's mission is to provide rapid medical response in areas affected by natural disasters or humanitarian crises worldwide. The PMM Emergency Team is currently undergoing WHO accreditation.

He has been awarded many times for his commitment and innovations. He is a finalist of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition, and a laureate of the prestigious Indifference Award granted by the Oświęcim Institute for Human Rights. In addition to that, he was also a finalist in the ranking of the Most Creative People in Business organized by the BRIEF.PL magazine.
